Obituary of Roberta M. Barhydt
LITTLE FALLS Roberta M. Barhydt, 90 of 147 Randazzo Road, Little Falls passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Little Falls Hospital where she had been a patient since June 2.
She was born in St. Johnsville the daughter of the late Roy and Frances (Snell) Yanney. She attend both Dolgeville and St. Johnsville Schools.
She was united in marriage to her husband of 53 years Earl F. Barhydt, Sr. on September 25, 1935 at the United Methodist Church Parsonage, Dolgeville. Mr. Barhydt predeceased her on January 3, 1988.
Mrs. Barhydt had resided in the Mohawk Valley most of her life, in her later years she relocated to Mesquite, TX where she resided for sixteen years, she returned to Little Falls. and at different times over the years resided in Phoenix, AZ and Alaska. Until she return to Little Falls in 2000 where she has since resided
She was employed at one time as a clerk for the former Park Row Drugs Store, Little Falls, later while residing in Phoenix she was employed for Remers Gift Shop. She was last employed as a clerk for the Mighty Marts Store in Mesquite, TX until her retirement in 1983.
She is survived by 5 Sons, Earl F. Barhydt, Jr. and his wife Beatrice, Little Falls, Robert Barhydt and his wife Shirley, Seattle, WA, James Barhydt and his companion Linda, Ilion, Frederick Barhydt and his wife Debbie, Texas and David Barhydt and his wifeToni, Texas, 2 daughters Nora E. Warner and her husband Paul, Little Falls with whom she resided and Ellen J. Stock and her husband Wayne, Tennessee, a brother John Yanney and his wife Gail, Dolgeville, a sister Helen Rouche and her husband William, Utica and 24 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
