Obituary of Samuel Sadlon

Little Falls- Samuel Sadlon, 95, life long resident of Little Falls passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Little Falls Hospital. He was born on June 12, 1910 in Little Falls the son of the late John and Susanna (Kovac) Sadlon. He was gradate of the Little Falls High School class of 1927, Utica School of Commerce class of 1929 and attended Utica College of Syracuse. He was united in marriage to his wife of 62 years the former Margaret (Peggy) Cushing in 1944. Mr. Sadlon was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls. He was employed at Remington Arms, Ilion in the Accounts Payable Department. He retired after 28 years of service in 1967. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Peggy), Two sisters Mrs. Sue Murphy, Little Falls, Mrs. Kristen Stack and her husband Leland, Herkimer, several nieces and nephews and a very dear friend Micheline Becker, Little Falls. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. James Paulson. Interment will take place in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday, April 21, 2006 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Saturday morning. In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. Sadlon be considered to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 512 East Gansvoort Street, Little Falls, NY. 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
