Joan C. Ferretti-Sorrentino STRATFORD - Joan C. Ferretti-Sorrentino, 77 of 512 Stewart Landing Road, Stratford passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at her winter residence 101 Golden Crest Court, Winter Springs, FL. She was born on August 18, 1928 in Queens, NY the daughter of the late Daniel and Lillian (Rodgers) McVicker. She was united in marriage to her husband of 45 years Philip M. Ferretti, Sr. on November 3, 1951 in Richmond Hills, NY. He predeceased her on October 3, 1996. She was again united in marriage to Dominick Sorrentino in August of 1999 in Stratford. After raising their family Mr. & Mrs. Ferretti moved from Queens to Stratford to enjoy their retirement. She is survived by her husband Dominick, her son Philip M. Ferretti, Jr. and Barbara Rozek, Apollo Beach, FL, her 3 daughters Joan Ferretti and Robert Lustberg, Glens Falls, NY, Mary Ferretti and Dan Davis, Cape Coral, FL, and Therese Ferretti and Mike Kinstel, Rye, NY, 2 brothers Thomas McVicker and his wife Muriel, N. Carolina, and Gerard McVicker and his wife Gail, California, 3 sisters Kathleen McGuire and her husband Mickey, Alabama, Patsy Kelleher and her husband Vincent, Long Island, NY and Maureen Oakley, N. Carolina, 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 6:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Donald L. Dixon, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Mt. View memorial Gardens, Town of Little Falls in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 from 12-2 and 4-6 pm and to attend the funeral services to follow.
