Obituary of Stella H. Rahm

LITTLE FALLS - Stella H. Rahm, 79 formerly of 35 Top Notch Drive, Little Falls and since May 25, 2007 a resident of the Folts Home, Herkimer passed away Thursday, August 30, 2007 at that residence. She was born on December 29, 1927 in Little Falls the daughter of the late George and Helen (Yaniec) Hysack. She was educated in Little Falls Schools. She was united in marriage to her husband of 49 years George E. Rahm on October 30, 1948 at St. Paul's Universalist Church, Little Falls. Mr. Rahm predeceased her on August 5, 1997. Mrs. Rahm was a member of St. Paul's Universalist Church, Little Falls. As well as a member of the Little Falls Chapter of AARP and the Rockton Plaza Seniors Group. She was employed for at onetime by the former F.W. Woolworth Co., National Automotive Fibers and Allegro Shoe Corp. She was last employed in the cafeteria at Monroe Street School, Little Falls. She is survived by her brother Joseph Hysack and his wife Alice, Little Falls, sisters in law Christine (Gert) and Ethel Hysack, Little Falls and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 brothers Stanley Hysack, February 9, 1990, Frank Hysack, November 19, 1992, George Hysack, March 21, 1998, William Hysack, March 19, 2000, and John Hysack, September 4, 2000, a sister Helen Perry, July 17, 2005. Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 10:00 am at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, with the Rev. Kimberly Miner, Pastor of St. Paul's Universalist Church, Little Falls officiating. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Rahm be considered to the St. Paul's Universalist Church, 565 Albany St., Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
