Obituary of Theresa B. Bilek

LITTLE FALLS Theresa B. Bilek, 92 of 192 Nulls Road, Little Falls passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Little Falls Hospital. She was born on February 26, 1918 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Simeon and Mary Bryn. She was educated in Little Falls Schools. She was united in marriage to her husband of 64 years John Bilek on December 23, 1939 in the Town of Herkimer. Mr. Bilek predeceased her on December 11, 2003. Mrs. Bilek was employed as a secretary for various companies in the area and for many years by the former Montgomery Wards Store, Herkimer. She was last employed by the community relations department of the Herkimer ARC. She was especially proud of her time spent as a swimming instructor for the American Red Cross at the Little Falls YMCA and as the host of the "Tess at 10" talk show on the WLFH radio station, Little Falls. She is survived by nieces Marianne Frye, Herkimer and Marcia Frye, Arizona, nephew Leigh Frye, Ilion and many other nieces and nephews and a sister in law Helen (George) Eskoff, Little Falls. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Stockwell in 1998. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Internment will take place in Mt. View Memorial Gardens, Town of Little Falls in the spring. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls
