Obituary of Willard J. Bicknell

ILION Willard J. Bicknell, 81 formerly of London Towers, Ilion passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Folts Home, Herkimer where he had been a resident since 2003. He was born on August 6, 1931 in Malone, NY the son of the late John and Lillian Bicknell. He was educated in Oneida Indian Reservation schools. Mr. Bicknell was a veteran of the US Army and a life member of Amvets Post # 777, Ilion. Mr. Bicknell was employed for several years by Chuck Humphreville Paving Co., Ilion and later as a member of the road crew for the City of Utica DPW. He was fond of animals, especially his dog Poco. He is survived by two sons John Grower and Scott Bicknell both of Little Falls and a daughter Melissa Bicknell, Little Falls, his brother Roger Bicknell and 3 grandchildren Scott Bicknell, Jr., William Grower and Katie Grower. Funeral services will held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in River View Cemetery, W. Parishville, NY Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. There are no calling hours.
