Obituary of Karen A. Wolowice
NELLISTON - Karen A. Wolowice, 51 of 118 Dygert Road, Palatine Bridge passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, where she had been a patient since August 27, 2005.
She was born on November 14, 1953 in Little Falls the daughter of Chester and Marion (Harlow) Dillenbeck of Fort Plain. She was educated in Fort Plain and St. Johnsville Schools.
She was united in marriage to her husband of 30 years Lynn R. Wolowice on July 5, 1975 at the United Methodist Church, St. Johnsville.
Mrs. Wolowice was employed at onetime by the Key Mark Corp, Fonda in the packing department.
She found great pleasure in shopping in the area stores and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her parents Chester and Marion Dillenbeck, Ft. Plain, her husband Lynn, her maternal grandmother Edna Harlow, Ft. Plain 3 daughters Melissa Coffin, Virginia Beach, Pamela Lewis and her husband Shawn, Ft. Plain and Angela Miranda and her husband Pasquale, Sicily, 2 brothers Ronald Dillenbeck and Tonya, Ft. Plain, and Timothy Dillenbeck and Renee, Ft. Plain, 3 sisters Laura Korona, St. Johnsville, Phyllis Battisti and her husband William, Ft. Plain and Christine Hoffman and her husband Martin, Ft. Plain, 7 grandchildren Brandon Handy, Kristin Swank, Sabrina Richtmyer, Lexus Richtmyer, Alayna Miranda, Jakeb Mosher and Kassidi Coffin, her mother in law Margaret Wolowice, Little Falls and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Krystle E. Swank, who died on November 3, 1996.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Kenneth Dingman, Pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ft. Plain officiating. Interment will take place in Salisbury Rural Cemetery, Town of Salisbury.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Sunday, September 11, 2005 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services Monday morning.
