Janet D. Ziroli LITTLE FALLS - Janet D. Ziroli, 57 of 686 E. Monroe Street, Little Falls passed away Monday, March 17, 2003 at her residence after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on January 22, 1946 in Little Falls the daughter of Vivian (Hollister) Darling and the late Leland H. Darling. She was a graduate of Dolgeville High School Class of 1964. She was united in marriage to Nicholas A. Ziroli on June 15, 1996 at the Overlook Mansion, Little Falls. For the past 13 years, Mrs. Ziroli was the Herkimer County Director of the American Cancer Society. She organized Relay for Life, Daffodil Days, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and was a member of Lost Chord Club and the Man to Man support groups. She is survived by her mother Vivian Darling, her husband Nicholas, Little Falls, her son Franz W. Pavalock, Williamstown, MA and her daughter M. Lucy Pavalock, Williamstown, MA, a brother Barry L. Darling and his wife Patricia Bonfe, Tully, a sister Maureen Darling, Utica and a nephew Jesse Darling, Tully. She was predeceased by her father Leland H. Darling, who died on October 30, 2000 she was also predeceased by her husband Mark Tyoe, who died on December 14, 1993. Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2003 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on from 10:00 - 11:00 am and to attend the services to follow. In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Ziroli be considered to the American Cancer Society, 430 Court St., Utica, NY 13502. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
