Obituary of Lillian F Kaiser

LITTLE FALLS – Lillian F. Kaiser, 84 of W. Monroe Street, Little Falls passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown with her daughter; Helen, son in law; Gordon and her Pastor Rev. Wintermute at her side. She was born on July 26, 1929 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Frank and Suzanna (Stibrany) Malavasic. A graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1947, the Barbizon Modeling School, New York City and the Utica School of Commerce. While in high school she had several part-time jobs including Katherine’s Beauty Shop, F. W. Woolworth, Rialto Theater and the City of Little Falls Recreation Dept. as a playground supervisor. She was united in marriage to her husband of 51 years Frederick A. Kaiser on July 27, 1956 in Dallas, TX. Mr. Kaiser predeceased her on May 5, 2007 Mrs. Kaiser was a member of the First Baptist Church, Little Falls where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and at one time served as church clerk. In 1972 she was introduced to the Christian Women’s Club, an evangelistic organization affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries. She served in several leadership positions for over 30 years. Her speaking engagements took her too many cities in New York State, Pennsylvania and Canada. She began her career as a secretary for the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co., Utica, and was last employed by the State of New York Dept. of Labor as an employment interviewer, retiring in 1989. She is survived by her daughter and son in law; Helen and Gordon Coleman, Little Falls, her sister and brother in law; Rosemary and Richard Warren, Little Falls, her grandson; Andrew Pawluk, Little Falls and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; Frank, George, Leo and Michael Malavasic, and by her sister; Suzanne Kieloch. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10:00 am from the First Baptist Church, 555 Albany Street, Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Christopher Wintermute, Pastor and the Rev. Donald L. Dixon, Pastor Emeritus officiating. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Town of Little Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services on Tuesday morning. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Kaiser be considered to the First Baptist Church, 555 Albany St., Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
