Obituary of Randy S Nourse

OPPENHEIM – Randy S. Nourse, 58 of State Route 29, St. Johnsville, NY (Town of Oppenheim) passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at his residence with his loving family at his side. He was born on August 15, 1956 in Little Falls the son of the late Walter and Annette (Stowell) Nourse, Jr.. He was a graduate of Oppenheim – Ephratah School class of 1974. At one time he was a member of the Sprite Club, and the Ilion Elks Lodge. He was an avid collector of classic cars especially Chevys and Jeeps. Mr. Nourse was employed by the Remington Arms Co., Ilion in the Dept. of Defense Division, a job he truly loved for 37 years when ill health caused his retirement earlier this year. A warm and outgoing man who knew the love of family and friends and enjoyed making people laugh. He is survived by his loving companion of over 25 years Vicki Scheuerman, Oppenheim; his son, Kyle S. Nourse, Oppenheim; his daughter Kelly M. Bramer and her husband Ronald, Jr., Fort Plain; his brother Brian P. Nourse and his wife Cathy, Oppenheim, a nephew Luke Nourse, Utica and nieces Sara Dillman and her husband Michael, Oppenheim, Pam Nourse, Frankfort and Emily Briggs, Salisbury. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 12:00 pm at the Dolgeville United Methodist Church, 21 N. Helmer Ave., Dolgeville, NY with the Rev. Jack Ford, Pastor officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Dolgeville United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 10:00 am until the time of the services at 12:00 pm and to attend the services to follow. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. Nourse be considered to the Mt. Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave., Gloversville, NY 12078 or Bassett Cancer Institute, 1 Atwell road, Cooperstown, NY 13326. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
