Obituary of Marjorie Decker
LITTLE FALLS – Marjorie L. Decker, 80 of State Route 5, Little Falls, NY (Town of Manheim) passed away Thursday morning December 25, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on March 31, 1934 in the Town of Salisbury, NY the daughter of the late Leonard F. and Helen (Ganger) Miller. She was educated in Dolgeville schools.
On December 15, 1981 she was united in marriage to Richard L. Decker in the Remsen, NY.
Mrs. Decker was employed at onetime by the Sturgis Mfg. Co., Utica and at the Little Falls Glove Factory and was a nurse’s aide for several years at Little Falls Hospital. She enjoyed fishing, bowling and especially trips to the casino.
She is survived by her husband Richard, her sons Terry Potoczny and his wife Becky, St. Johnsville and Wardne G. Kuyrkendall and his wife Barbara, Little Falls, five grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her brother in law Carson Hotaling, Little Falls, a nephew and a niece. She was predeceased by her brothers Gerald and Leonard Miller and her sister Joann Hotaling.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills.
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
