Obituary of Patricia J Daley

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Patricia J. Daley, 69 of State Highway 5, St. Johnsville passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Faxton - St. Luke’s Healthcare Center, New Hartford. She was born on April 7, 1945 in Herkimer, NY the daughter of the late Margaret (Whitney) Stock. She grew up in Middleville and was a graduate of West Canada Valley High School. She was united in marriage to her husband of 29 years Timothy P. Daley on May 18, 1985 at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Little Falls with the Rev. Dr. Steven A. Scarcia officiating. Mrs. Daley enjoyed spending time at home with her family and friends and was especially fond of the Christmas season. She attended Tops and Silver Sneakers Groups in Mohawk where she enjoyed seeing her friends. She was employed at onetime by several tanneries in Gloversville, the Palatine Dye, Co., St. Johnsville and the former Guilford Mills (Curtains & Fabrics) Co., East Herkimer. She was last employed in the laundry department of the Folts Home, Herkimer. Mrs. Daley is survived by her husband Timothy, her daughter Mary Jane (MJ) Cool and her companion Tom Williamson, Schenectady, her brother Gene Stock and his wife Carol, Newport and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Linda Cool on July 20, 1981 and by her brother Myron Stock, Jr. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 3:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with Deacon Beverly Jones of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will take place in Middleville Rural Cemetery, Middleville, NY in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 1-3 pm and to attend the funeral services to follow. In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Daley be considered to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
