Obituary of Alice M Frezza

LITTLE FALLS - Mrs. Alice M. (Fort) Frezza, 95, a lifelong resident of Little Falls, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2015 at Little Falls Hospital following a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her death. Alice was born in Little Falls on November 2, 1919, the daughter of the late Lewis and Harriet (Bowman) Fort. Her marriage to Raymond (Ramie) Frezza took place on April 27, 1946. Together they shared a loving and special union of sixty-one years until Ramie’s passing on August 10, 2007. Alice and Ramie were pre-deceased by their infant son Raymond Jr. Survivors include their daughter Patricia Frezza-Gressler and her husband Jeffrey Gressler of Little Falls and daughter Joanne Morotti and husband William also of Little Falls. Alice is also survived by her grandson Owen Speer Morotti, his girlfriend Anna Watson and their infant daughter Sophie Annabelle Speer Morotti, Alice’s great-grand daughter. Survivors also include Alice’s niece Alice Hartman and husband Paul of Little Falls, her nephew Charles Shaffer and wife Betty of Flushing, N.Y., her nephew Paul Frezza of Herkimer and a number of other nieces and nephews. She was also pre-deceased by her brother Charles Fort in 1980 and her sister Marion Shaffer in 1992. Alice’s family wishes to thank her “third daughter” Karen Wilson for her many years of devoted friendship. Family meant everything to Alice. She had a kind, non-judgmental and compassionate spirit. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her. Alice’s family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Little Falls Hospital for their skillful care and many acts of kindness during her hospitalization. In keeping with Alice’s wishes, funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. Alice’s family asks that there be no floral offerings.
