Obituary of Natalie F Quinn
LITTLE FALLS – Natalie F. Quinn, 93 of 596 E. Gansevoort St., Little Falls passed away, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 26, 1921 the daughter of the late W. Harold and Bessie (Brown) Ferguson. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class on 1939.
On March 27, 1944 she was united in marriage to her husband of 68 years Earl H. Quinn at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Little Falls. Mr. Quinn predeceased her on May 4, 2012.
She was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Little Falls, as well as an over 70 member of the Auskerada, Maquaes, Rock City Chapter # 204 O.E.S. and served at onetime as Matron of the former Rock City Chapter # 272, OES, Little Falls and was the past District Grand Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star of NYS. She was also a life member and past president of the Kopco-Hunnington Spirit of 76 O.E.S. and a member of the Mohawk Valley Square Dance Club and former member of the WCA Board of Directors.
Mrs. Quinn was employed at one time in the office of the former Cherry-Burrell Corp., Little Falls and was last employed as a purchasing agent for the Gehring – Tricot, Corp., Dolgeville, retiring in 1984 after 20 years of service.
She is survived by her daughter; Shelley Quinn-Scarano and her son-in- law Dominick Scarano, Little Falls, 6 grandchildren Karen Dexter Angeley (Mike), Bethany Dexter Cristman, Jonathan Dexter (Malyn), Aaron O’Bryan (Melissa Smith), Rory O’Bryan (Tracey) and Natalia Scarano Jodway (Adam), 12 great grandchildren, Randy and Laura Angeley, Taiylor and Connor Cristman, Austin and Coy Dexter, Morgan and Quinn O’Bryan, Jordan and Logan O’Bryan and Annabella and Samuel Jodway; her sister; Eleanor Cook, Little Falls and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Quinn Dexter on October 14, 1988, a granddaughter Lindsey Michelle O’Bryan on March 15, 1979, her brother Willard Ferguson, on January 2, 2002 and her sister Elizabeth Windecker, on July 9, 2011.
Memorial services will take place at the convenience of the family with interment in Middleville Rural Cemetery, Middleville, NY
Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
