Obituary of Mary E Hayes

LITTLE FALLS – Mary E. Hayes, 78 of Burwell Street, Little Falls, NY passed away Monday evening, July 13, 2015 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Medical Center, New Hartford, NY She was born on March 30, 1937 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Sheppard) Hayes. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy, Little Falls and later further her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse Graduating from St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing, Utica in the class of 1974. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls. Miss. Hayes was employed for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Mohawk Valley General Hospital, Ilion as well as at Little Falls Hospital for several years. She is survived by her brothers: David Hayes and his wife Josephine, Palm City, FL, and Eugene Hayes, Syracuse, her sisters; Dorothy Bubencik, Richfield Springs and Elizabeth Finer and her husband Robert, Novato, Calif. And several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers John, Bernard, Jeremiah, Leonard and Daniel Hayes and by her brother Eugene (Dick) Hayes who passed earlier the same day. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with Deacon Joseph DeLorenzo officiating. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 10-11 am and to attend the funeral services to follow.
