Obituary of Eugene (Dick) R. Hayes

SYRACUSE – Eugene R. (Dick) Hayes, 65 formerly of Little Falls, NY and for many years of New Paltz, NY passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, NY. He was born on September 30, 1949 in Little Falls the son of the Daniel J. and Elizabeth (Sheppard) Hayes. He was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy, Little Falls and attended Herkimer County Community College. For many years he was employed in the Maintenance Dept. for the Little Falls City School District. He is survived by his brother; David J. Hayes and his wife Josephine, Palm City, FL his sisters; Dorothy Bubencik, Richfield Springs and Elizabeth Finer and her husband Robert, Novato, CA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers John, Bernard, Jeremiah, Leonard and Daniel Hayes. Also by his sister Mary E. Hayes who passed later same the day. Funeral services will held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY.
