Obituary of Lillian M Jasewicz

LITTLE FALLS - Lillian M. Jasewicz, 78 of 6 West Shore Street, Little Falls, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at her residence. She was born on September 9, 1936 in Boston, Mass. The daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Trippe) Porter. She received her education in Jamaica Plains, Mass. On November 17, 1956 she was united in marriage to her husband of 54 years Albert D. Jasewicz at Lady of Lourdes Church, Jamaica Plains, Mass. Mr. Jasewicz predeceased her on April 10, 2010. Mrs. Jasewicz was a member of the American Legion Post # 31, Ladies Auxiliary, Little Falls, she enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing cards with her many friends and family. She was employed at one time by the former Allegro Shoe Corp, Little Falls and beginning in 1979 by the Housekeeping Department of Little Falls Hospital until her retirement in 1992. She is survived by her son; Kevin Jasewicz, Little Falls, her daughters; Patricia Talaba and her husband David, Little Falls, Linda Bennett, Glenville, NY, Brenda Chrisman and her husband Robert, Little Falls, Laurie Tinkler and her husband Andy, Little Falls and Sharon Mumford and her husband Greg, Dolgeville, her daughter in law; Tracey Jasewicz, Oswego, her sisters; Marion Casaburi and Marie Porter both of Middleton, Mass. And Patricia Judkins, Little Falls, 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons; David Jasewicz on December 4, 2005 and Albert (AJ) Jasewicz on January 5, 2015. Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Joseph Famulare officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 10-11 am and to attend the services to follow.
