Obituary of Ronnie Mosher

LITTLE FALLS – Ronnie Mosher, 71 of Bronner Road, Little Falls passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Medical Center, New Hartford, with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 6, 1943 in Little Falls the son of the late Frank and Ruth (Looman) Mosher. He was educated in Little Falls Schools and attended SUNY Morrisville. On May 27, 1961 he was united in marriage to his wife of 54 years the former Julia E. (Judy) Loren in Dolgeville, NY He was a member of the Sprite Club, but found his most joy in helping his close friend Larry Rockwell on his farm in the Town of Manheim and spending “Sunday Services” with his best friend James Crane of Dolgeville Mr. Mosher was employed as a Truck Driver and Mechanic for Teal’s Express in Marcy for 20 years. Also working in that same capacity at one time for the former Delwood Co., Herkimer and as a part time Truck Driver for the Obreza Trucking Co., Mohawk. He is survived by his wife; Judy, his son Ronnie Mosher Jr. and his wife Danielle, Little Falls, his daughters; Kathleen Mosher, Olathe, KA, Ann E. McLaughlin and her husband Cletus, Little Falls, Frances Reid and her husband Tom, Oriskany, NY and Valerie Champion and her husband Jason, New Hartford, brothers; Brayton Mosher and his wife Mildred, Glen Mosher and his wife Lynda and Bernard Mosher and his wife Barbara all of Little Falls, sisters; Ann Perry and her husband Daniel, Maude Cheney, Lena Baumes and her husband Clayton all of Dolgeville and Carol Hulbert, Cold Brook, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers; Milford (Bud) Mosher and Wayne Mosher, his sister; Sharon Mosher and a grandson Chip Keyser. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Lynn Lockwood, Pastor of the Salisbury United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 5-8 pm and to attend the funeral services on Friday morning. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. Mosher be considered to the American Lung Assn of CNY 418 Broadway, 1st Floor, Albany, NY 12207.
