Obituary of David F Warren

LITTLE FALLS – David F. Warren, 55 of W. Monroe Street, Little Falls passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Alpine Nursing & Rehab. Center, Little Falls. He was born on September 8, 1960 in Little Falls the son of Richard M. and Rosemary (Malavasic) Warren of Little Falls. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class of 1978 where he played several sports including Tennis and Volleyball. He continued his education graduating with his Associates Degree in Music from Onondaga County Community College Class of 1981 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in music from Potsdam State University in 1983. He began his career as a Music Teacher in Long Island for a couple of years before relocating back to Little Falls, where he was a substitute teacher for various schools in the valley. An accomplished guitarist he also gave private guitar lessons to many individuals. He is survived by his parents Richard and Rosemary, his brother; Paul Warren, Miami Beach, FL, his sister; Rebecca Maugeri and her husband Joseph, Clayville, NY, his nephews; Joseph, Benjamin and Matthew Maugeri and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Little Falls later in the spring. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of David be considered to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057 or the First Baptist Church, 555 Albany St., Little Falls, NY 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
