Obituary of Kristina Stack

HERKIMER – Kristina (Sadlon) Stack, 95 Herkimer and formerly Little Falls passed away Sunday, March, 13, 2016 at the Folts Home, Herkimer where she had been a resident since January 15, 2013. She was born on January 15, 1921 in Little Falls the daughter of the late John and Susanna (Kovac) Sadlon. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School. On March 7, 1944 she was united in marriage to her husband of 62 years Leland Stack in Virginia. Mr. Stack predeceased her on September 5, 2006. Mrs. Stack was employed for over 20 years as the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Little Falls, retiring in 1984. Having been raised in Little Falls she was a faithful member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for much of her life. After relocating to Herkimer she enjoyed attending the Trinity Lutheran Church where she found many dear friends. She is survived by her daughter; Susan Lee Stack, Louisville, KY, many beloved nieces and nephews and her dear friends; Beverly and Dennis Gregorin, Little Falls. She was predeceased by her brothers Samuel, John, Stephen, George and Paul Sadlon and by her sisters; Sue Murphy and Anne Kubica. Graveside service will be held at a time and date to be announced at Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Falls later in the spring with the Rev. Ann Zimmerman, Pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Herkimer officiating. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Stack be considered to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 443 Henry St., Herkimer, NY 13350. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Pastor Ann Zimmerman, the Lay Minister and the entire Congregation of the Trinity Lutheran Church for the kindness, friendship and love shown to Kristina over the many years.
