Obituary of Byron T Alling

STRATFORD – Byron T. Alling, 52 formerly of Dolgeville / Stratford and more recent of Yorkville, NY passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Medical Center, New Harford following a brief illness. He was born on February 27, 1964 in Little Falls, NY the son of Thomas F. Alling and Juanita (Johnson) Belcher. He was educated in Stratford Schools and was a graduate of Mayfield, NY High School. Mr. Alling was employed at onetime by the Tryon Detention Center, Perth, NY, the Hussmann Corp., Gloversville and was last a self-employed landscaper and furnace repairman. He also taught furnace repair at Herkimer County BOCES. In his free time he enjoyed Motorcycle and Snowmobile riding, Hunting, Fishing and playing pool. He is survived his parents Thomas F. Alling, San Antonio, TX and Juanita Belcher and her fiancé Richard Cool, Dolgeville, NY, his son; Joshua Alling , Stratford, his daughter; Corinne Alling, Newport, his brothers; Brian E. Alling and his wife Cynthia, Stratford, Brent S. Alling, Dolgeville and Edward F. Belcher, Jr. and his wife Kimmie of Montana, his sisters; Kimberla Lander and her husband Charles, Mayfield and Deanna Dover, Harrison, Arkansas, his grandson; Troy Alford and several and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step father; Edward F. Belcher, Sr. in 2004. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 6:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. Interment will take place in Salisbury Rural Cemetery, Town of Salisbury later in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 4-6 pm and to attend the funeral services to follow.
