Obituary of Debra A Lyon

DOLGEVILLE – Debra A. Lyon, 58 formerly of Parkside Courts, Dolgeville and more recent of Troy, NY passed away peacefully Friday, June 3, 2016 at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY with her daughter Bethany by her side. She was born on March 4, 1958 in Crookston, Minnesota the daughter of the late Keith and Claudia (Allen) Hillard. She was a graduate of Lincoln, Montana High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia College of Moorehead, MT. She is survived by her sons; Damien Lyon and his wife Ashley, Syracuse, NY and Timothy Lyon, Little Falls, NY. Her daughters; Desire Linscott and her husband Ronald, San Luis Obispo, CA and Bethany Dahoda and her husband Michael, Troy, NY, her half-brother; William Hillard and half-sister; Mary Jacobsen, four grandchildren; Finley and Stella Lyon and Elias and Talia Dahoda and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 4:00 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann St., Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Jack Ford, Pastor of the Dolgeville United Methodist Church officiating. In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Lyon be considered to the Ronald McDonald House. 139 South Lake Ave., Albany, NY 12208. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose. There will be a reception honoring Debra’s life at the Dolgeville Fire Station, N. Helmer Ave., Dolgeville following the services at the funeral home.
