Obituary of William James Robinson

LITTLE FALLS – William James Robinson, 73 of Ward Street, Little Falls, NY passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica. He was born on June 18, 1942 in Cooperstown, NY the son of the late James C. and Marion (Harris) Robinson and was educated at St. Mary’s Academy, Little Falls. A veteran of the US Air Force, he entered the service on July 10, 1959 in Buffalo, NY. He served with the 10th Air Police Squadron at McGuire AFB, NJ. He was honorably discharged on January 23, 1963. Mr. Robinson relocated to Oregon where he went to work for the Weyerhaeuser Paper Co. as their quality control inspector for 29 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 31, Little Falls. He is survived by his sons; John Matthew Robinson, Springfield, OR and James Michael Robinson, Eugene, OR, his daughters; Heather Marie Robinson, Eugene, OR, Brenda Lee Robinson, Beaumont, TX and Leslie Robinson, Little Falls, his step brother; Michael Kaminski, Little Falls and his half-sisters Marsha Robinson, Delanson, NY and Janie Rogers, Georgia Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Richfield Springs, NY. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
