Obituary of Jean Dussault

LITTLE FALLS – Jean Dussault, 93, formerly of 6 Burwell Street, Little Falls and since March of 2010 a resident of the Masonic Care Community, Utica passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, at that residence. She was born April 28, 1923 in Little Falls, NY, a daughter of the late Edward and Matilda (Vogel) Donovan. She was a graduate of Little Falls High Scholl Class of 1941. Mrs. Dussault was formerly employed by the Montgomery Ward Catalog Company for several years after high school. She later worked with her husband at the family business, The Journal and Courier Co, Little Falls. She was united in marriage to her husband of 65 years Roger L. Dussault on Feb. 21, 1944 in Dyersburg, TN She was a long-standing and active member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, participating in the choir, ladies 'group, bargain basement and coffee hour. She was also an avid golfer and loved gardening. Her rock garden and window African violets were her delight. She is survived by her daughter, Caryl and son-in-law Robert Buehler, her three sons and three daughters-in-law, David and Mary Jo of Livonia, NY, Jeffrey and Kathleen of Herndon, VA and Jerry and Heather of Barneveld, NY. Jean left behind eight grandchildren, Chris Buehler, Kim Burcham and her husband Kevin, Jacquelyn, Jennifer and Gregory Dussault, Michael Dussault and his wife Kris, Matthew Dussault and his wife Melissa, Shawn Dussault and his wife Jennifer and seven great-grandchildren, Denver Buehler, Dylan, Lilah Jean, Lucia and Ryan Dussault, Will and Hannah Grace Hickman,. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 am from the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 588 Albany Street, Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Dr. Steven a. Scarcia, Rector officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY.
