Obituary of Naomi R Gross

HERKIMER – Naomi R. Gross, 84 formerly of Little Falls and Sherwood Acres Apt’s Herkimer and for the past several years of Rochester, NY passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Episcopal Church Home, Rochester. She was born on May 18, 1932 in Richfield Springs, NY the daughter of the late Homer I. and Margaret E. (Bailey) Trask. She was a graduate of Richfield Springs High School class of 1950. On February 10, 1951 she was united in marriage to Elmer G. Urich, he predeceased her on August 15, 1972, on January 1, 1976 she was united in marriage to Richard E. Barnes, he predeceased her on April 15, 1985 and on April 20, 1996 she was united in marriage to Albert J. Gross, he predeceased her on October 26, 2007. Mrs. Gross was a member of the Auskerada, Rock City Maques Chapter 296 OES. For many years she was employed as Teller for the former Marine Midland Bank, Herkimer. She is survived by her daughter Gale Myers, Rochester, her grandchildren, Robert Myers (Alona), Rochester, Leila Crain (William) Centralia, Ill., Richard Gross, Stamford, Conn., Jennifer Martin (Brian), Allison Austin (Thomas), Matthew Crain, Richard Gross, Scott Gross (Christa) and Amy Velez (Mauriso), 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Greg Urich in 1978 and by her sister Christobel Sube in 2010. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Gross be considered to the charity of one’s choice. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
