Obituary of Ronald J Braccini

LITTLE FALLS – Ronald J. Braccini, 75 of Top Notch Drive, Little Falls, NY passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Medical Center, New Hartford, NY. He was born on February 28, 1943 in Little Falls the son of the late Ronald and Clarie (Carpenter) Braccini. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class of 1961. As well as a graduate of Empire State College, Saratoga and Advance Course Study through the Upstate Clinical Medial Network. He was united in marriage to his wife of 30 years the former Marian Sue Smith on October 9, 1987 in Little Falls. Ron was a veteran of the US Army. Entering the service during the Vietnam Era on January 6, 1967. He was honorably discharged on September 14, 1971. Ron was a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor as well as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for the Community Health and Behavioral Services, Utica, NY for over 25 years. He was also employed at one time by the former UNIVAC Corp, Utica and SUNY College of Technology as a Computer Instructor. He enjoyed fishing in area creeks, spending time at the ocean especially Wells Beach, Maine, and visiting the St. Lawrence Seaway. He is survived by his beloved wife Sue, Little Falls, his close friend, Gordon Dunham, Whitesboro, NY, aunts, Blanche Guilboard, Florida and Karen Krutz, Alabama, a special cousin, Claudia Weaver, Alabama and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Joseph Famulare, Pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 9-10 am and to attend the funeral services to follow.
