Obituary of Ronald Barnes

SALISBURY- Ronald Barnes, 79 of Irondale Road Salisbury, NY passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 23, 2018. Where he has resided since 2009 after relocating from New York City. He was born on December 1, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY the late James and Mary Teresa (Aubovics) Barnes. He was educated in Brooklyn schools. Mr. Barnes was employed by Primar Typographical New York City for 30 years as an Advertising Printer. He also enjoyed Scuba Diver in New York City and around the world. Due to a scuba diving accident forced him to retire. He was also very proud of his latest accomplishment. Driving his Polaris four wheeler all around and picking up cans and donating all the proceeds to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. He had recently turned 50,000 miles on his Polaris four wheeler. He is survived by one brother James Barnes and several friends especially Stanley Blazek, New York Mills and Dave Vickers and his family. Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dolgeville. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Ronald be considered to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN., 38105-1942. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
