I remember Uncle Clair when I was a child and growing up. Earliest memory was of him and my cousins in the yellow GMC he had, and of course all is angora rabbits, Later as I got older and married taking my wife to visit my family from NY (her first real white Christmas) and Uncle Clair showing Nik his cow he had. I remember he always has a smile and a story to tell about something that just drew your attention. Never a harsh or cross word. My last memory of him was when we went to visit in 2006, and he had remodeled his home, which use to be the house my mom and dad built. Was so proud of the improvements he had made and was happy to show us around. Again always with a smile. So to my Aunt Marge, and her children who I have yet to meet and my cousins Tim Debbie and Darlene, Nickey and I send our deepest condolences.

Here are a few pictures I have of Uncle Clair. Just thought I would share, The one of him with his rabbit was taken in 86 the other two at Christmas of 95. And yes Nik took one of him using the snowblower. He actually restarted it and made an extra pass for her since being a southern gal she had never seen one actually used and he got a kick out of that. Hope they bring a smile to you. He was special.

I will miss that smiling face at the rabbit shows. Clair would always make a point to find me by the cavies or walking the show room. Thank you God for blessing us with this loving, gentle soul.

A very heart warming, caring neighbor!!!! We will all miss seeing you on your strolls along the road, the friendly wave hello and the great big smile you always had. My daughter says she will miss looking forward to all the new lawn ornaments that you handcrafted with so much love. The train and ferris wheel are one of our favorites! Loved the home grown vegetables you shared with our family as well. I hope your family can find peace in knowing they will always have a guardian angel watching from above. We are here if you need anything! Love always, The Marquissee's
