Obituary of Mary Jane (MJ) Cool

SCHENECTADY – Mary Jane (MJ) Cool, 52 of Frank, St. Schenectady, NY passed away Thursday, December 6. 2018 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. She was born on June 25, 1966 in Little Falls, NY the daughter of the late Eugene Cool, who passed away when MJ was 3 and the daughter of Timothy P. Daley, St. Johnsville, NY and the late Patricia (Stock) Daley. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class of 1984 and later became a licensed Beautician. She then received her Associates Degree in Computer Science from MVCC, Utica. She enjoyed cooking and was very active with numerous animal rights groups and causes in the area. MJ was employed for many years as a Beautician in various shops in the Herkimer area. She was currently employed as an Administrative Assistant for MVP Health Care, Schenectady. She is survived by her father Timothy P. Daley, St. Johnsville, her beloved companion Thomas J. Williamson, Schenectady, her uncles, Eugene Stock (Carol), Newport, Myron Stock (Terry), Beaumont, TX and Daniel Daley, St. Johnsville and many cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her mother Patricia on February 3, 2015 and by her sister Linda Cool on July 20, 1981. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Dr. Steven A. Scarcia, officiating. Interment will take place in Middleville Rural Cemetery, Middleville in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home where memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 9-11 am and to attend the services to follow. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of MJ be considered to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Glenville, NY 12302. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
