Obituary of Elizabeth Bucher

LITTLE FALLS – Elizabeth Bucher, 87 formerly of North Syracuse and more recent of Little Falls, NY passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Foltsbrook Center, Herkimer, NY. She was born on November 12, 1931 in Binghamton, NY the daughter of the late Earl and Anna ( Kozak ) Briggs. She was a graduate of Binghamton North High School class of 1950. On January 3, 1953 she was united in marriage to her husband of 42 years Edward A. Bucher Mr. Bucher predeceased her in 1995. Betty was a strong, independent woman and caring neighbor who had a knack for making people smile. Her family and her faith were central in her life. She will be missed by many. A dedicated wife and mother she is survived by her daughter Mary (Peter) Ulasewicz, also of Little Falls, and daughters Elizabeth Bucher, Syracuse, and Patricia Davis (Steve) Michigan and sons, Stephen Bucher (Cindy), Texas, Joseph Bucher, Florida and Andrew Bucher (Barbara), Syracuse, her sister Martha Savo, Binghamton, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brother and sisters. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at North Syracuse Cemetery, 555 South Bay Road, North Syracuse, NY Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours.
