Obituary of Andrew R. Harris

LITTLE FALLS – Andrew R. Harris, 57, of Milligan Street, Little Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly at home, Sunday, June 2, 2019. Born in Little Falls on October 1, 1961, he was the son of the late Richard and Ann (Amacher) Harris. He was a graduate of the Little Falls High School Class of 1980. On August 13, 1988, he was united in marriage to his wife of 30 years, the former Mary H. Hysack, at St. Mary’s Church, Little Falls. Andy enjoyed spending time riding his Harley-Davidson and snowmobiling and at one time was a member of the Salisbury Ridgerunners Club. For many years he was employed as a loader by the Burrows Paper Corporation, Little Falls. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his son, A. Richard Harris, Boston, MA; his daughter, Allison Harris, Little Falls; his sisters, Karen Girmonde and Robin Sadlon and her husband, Alan, both of Little Falls, several nieces and nephews, and by many extended relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Susan Vo. He will be especially missed by his canine companions, Blazer and Luna. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY, on Friday, June 7, 2019, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Following a brief prayer service at 12:00pm, a procession will follow to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer, NY.
