Obituary of Alexis A. Smith

ORLANDO, FL – Alexis A. Smith, 41 of Jetsail Drive, Orlando, FL passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at AdventHealth, Orlando following a brief illness. She was born on February 14, 1978 in Seoul, Korea the daughter of Barbara (Skandera) Smith, Little Falls, NY and the late Harry V. (Skip) Smith, who predeceased her on November 11, 1993. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1996 as well as a graduate of Syracuse University class of 2000. She was a member of the Discovery Church, Orlando and was an especially avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Lexi was employed as an instructor for Arise for the last 4 years since moving to Orlando. She is survived by her mother Barbara S. Smith, Little Falls, her beloved children Jacob Skip Smith and Kiley Christine Smith of Orlando, her brother Darren Lee and his wife Kristen and their children Abigail, Carter and Eleanor all of Solvay, NY, her sisters Jennifer Cash and husband Carl and their children Skylar and Max, of Columbus, OH and Amanda Ferraro and her husband Joseph, Middle Grove, NY. She was also predeceased by her paternal grandparents Harry and Mary Smith, her maternal grandparents John and Edna Skandera and her aunt Joanne Lee. Funeral services will be held at noon on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Joseph Famulare, Pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills in the spring of 2020. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Sunday from 11am-12pm and to attend the services to follow.
