Obituary of Nancy A. Lockwood

Mrs. Nancy A. Lockwood, 80, of Wilcox Road, Whitesboro, New York passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Sitrin Rehab in New Hartford. Born on January 6, 1941 in Little Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Raymond D. Austin and Vera H. Hollister Austin. She was a graduate of Dover Plains High School, Class of 1958 and of Krissler Business Institute (KBI). She was a onetime Lab Tech for Beech-Nut Corp. in Canajoharie before starting a family and raising her children. She was of Protestant faith. Mrs. Lockwood and her husband were avid pool players. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her animals. On July 14, 1972 in Albany, Georgia Nancy was married to Gary David Lockwood. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2019. Mrs. Lockwood is survived by her 4 daughters, Lynette A. Goodell and Robert, Wendy A. Lloyd and Gavin, Suzanne A. Wallis and Tim, Tryntjie Jans Chrysler and Gregg; sister, Nadine Buzzeo; grandsons, Brendan L. Chrysler, Steven A. Goodell; great-granddaughter, Kinslie Goodell; dog, Ducky; cats, Dickens and Oatie. A graveside service will be held at Garlock Cemetery on Friday April 16th, 2021 at 1:00 PM .
