Obituary of Phyllis Battisti

Mrs. Phyllis J. Battisti, 61, of State Route 5s, Fort Plain, NY, passed away early Saturday morning June 4th, at Bassett of Cooperstown surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was born in Little Falls, NY on July 9, 1960, the daughter of the late Chester Dillenbeck and Marion Harlow Dillenbeck. She was a graduate of Fort Plain High School, Class 1978 and lived in the local area her entire life. She was most recently employed as a packer at Target Distribution, Amsterdam, previously she was employed at Sentinel Select, and Johnstown Knit. On July 1, 1978, at the St. Johnsville Reformed Church she married William J. Battisti. She was predeceased by her father, and sister Karen Wolwice. Survivors include her husband; mother, Marion Dillenbeck; 3 sons; 2 daughters; sisters, Laura Dillenbeck, and Christine Hoffman; brothers, Ronald Dillenbeck, and Timothy Dillenbeck; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will take place from 10:00am-12:00pm on Wednesday June 8th, 2022, with a funeral following at Noon at Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY, 13365. Burial will take place at Fort Plain Cemetery following the funeral.
