Obituary of Margaret L. Moore

Ms. Margaret L. Moore, 82, of Dolgeville, NY passed away in the early morning on Wednesday October 12th, 2022, at Valley Health Services. She was born on January 5th, 1940, the daughter of Dudley and Elizabeth Wyeth Moore.

She was a graduate of Amsterdam High School, Class of 1958. Following high school, she obtained her certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Most recently she had been employed as an LPN at the Little Falls Hospital for over 12 years.

Margaret had been an Ombudsman for the American Red Cross.

She is survived by her sons, Matthew D., and his wife Lynne Lee, Steven B. Lee; daughters Nancy F. Lee and Holly A. and her husband William Ashley; grandchildren Joshua, Jonathan, and Lydia Lee.

She was predeceased by her sister Janice Morrow, January 5, 1995.

As per her wishes, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Burial of her cremains will take place at Fort Plain Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Valley Health Services for the wonderful care they provided to our mother doing the most important job in the world, taking care of another human being.
