Obituary of Anne T. Hoteling
Mrs. Anne T. Hoteling, 95, of Arthur Street, passed away peacefully at home on April 5th, 2023, with her loving family.
She was born in Little Falls, NY, March 17, 1928, the daughter of the late Albert Ladeau and Margaret Healy Ladeau.
She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy Class of 1945, then went on to the Utica School of Commerce.
Mrs. Hoteling was employed as a payroll clerk at the Little Falls City school district, retiring in 1994 after 14 years.
Mrs. Hoteling enjoyed knitting and sewing and was an excellent listener to her family.
On July 24, 1948, she married to Gilbert M. Hoteling, at the former St. Mary’s Church, Little Falls, together they celebrated 63 years of marriage until his passing on March 3, 2011.
She is survived by her children G. Michael and Mary Hoteling, Ben Hoteling, James and Lisa Hoteling, Douglas and Kim Hoteling; Phyllis Dickey, Jane Hoteling and George Spak, Beth Hoteling who has been her special caregiver, caring for her over the past several years, Sue Ellen and John Gay; and Andrew and Tracy Hoteling; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, and brothers Albert Ladeau, William Ladeau, and sisters Mary Ward and Agnes M. Scanlon, and grandson Jacob Hoteling.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday April 12, 2023 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365. A Funeral will be held immediately following the visitation at 1:00PM, Fr. Brian Slezack officiating.
Burial will take place at the Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls, NY
