Obituary of Flora Stock

Mrs. Flora M. Stock, known to many as "Pumpkin", was 86 years old, when she passed away at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Stock was born in Salisbury, NY on March 22, 1937, the daughter of Maurice "Morris" and Lillian Miller Darrow, both predeceased her. 

Pumpkin spent her entire life in the Little Falls area. While working she had worked at the Allegro Shoe Company, LaSalle Labs, and Curtains and Fabrics.

Flora was a member of the Little Falls American Legion Post #31. She also enjoyed being at the family camp at Hinckley Lake, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

On August 10, 1960 in Forestport, NY she married Russell G. Stock. He predeceased her on June 24, 1987.

She was also predeceased by her son, Gary N. and his wife Susan Stock, son in law Terry Warn, and all of Flora's siblings and their spouses, Glen and Betty Darrow, Albert and Betty Darrow, Marion and Paul Bouck, Ruth Hulbert (Ken), and Lynn and Louise Darrow.

Survivors include her daughter Cynthia Warn: grandchildren Ashley and Matt Ackert, Justin Stock, Corey and Keisha Warn, Stephanie and Jeremiah Snyder, Mackenzie Stock (Alex Kilmartin); great grandchildren Madison, Isabella, Ava, Lillian, Jerome, Julian, Jayden, Brooklyn, Trevor, Cameron, Emery, Laiken, Deegan, and Bentley; life long friends Helen, Ruthie, and Fred; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 11:00-1:00PM, on Saturday June 10th, 2023, at Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365. Following the visitation a procession will take place to the Village of St. Johnsville Cemetery where an interment service will take place.
