Obituary of Clara Washburn
Mrs. Clara Washburn, 96, formerly of E. John Street, Little Falls, NY died on June 15th, 2023, at the Lutheran Center, Poughkeepsie, NY.
She was born in Forest City Pennsylvania on November 27, 1926, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Matos Cutspec.
Clara attended St. Mary's academy in Little Falls, NY.
She worked as the circulation secretary for Gannett Newspapers, until her retirement.
She was a communicant of Our Holy Family Parish, Little Falls.
She was married to Robert L. Washburn, who predeceased her on July 29, 1967.
She was also predeceased by her brother William Cutspec, sister-in-law Mildred Cutspec, sister Marion Kearns, and brother-in-law Cletus Kearns.
Survivors include her sons; Ronald and Peggy Washburn of Bolton Landing, NY; Roger and Sandra Washburn of Wading River, NY and Richard and Norma Washburn of Poughkeepsie, NY; grandchildren; Robert Washburn, Jr., Thomas Washburn, Brian Washburn, Michelle Allen, and Samantha Litzman; 10 great grandchildren; 1great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 9:00-10:00 am, Friday June 23, 2023 prior to the funeral held at 10:00 am at the Chapman Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365.
