Obituary of Manfred K. Hauser
Mr. Manfred K. Hauser, 74, most recently of Pine Lake Road, Caroga Lake, Ny, previously of Little Falls, NY, died on Saturday August 19, 2023, at the Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville, NY.
He was born in Cranenburg, Germany on March 26, 1949, the son of Adolf Hauser and Hidegard Icks Hauser, both who predeceased him.
Manfred graduated from Little Falls High School in 1968. Following graduation he entered the US Navy, where he served in the Vietnam War from August 1968 until August 1971, with the rank of E-5 and receiving two bronze stars. He had trained while in the Navy as an electrician, when he was honorably discharged from the Navy, he went to work as an electrician at the Allegro Shoe Company, until their closing, he then worked at Redco in Little Falls, and a few other places before his retirement.
He was of Lutheran faith, and enjoyed muzzleloading, camping, his German Shepard, Rolf, spending time in his backyard with his friends and family and playing games with his little Coo-Coo.
On August 27, 1989, at the Little Falls VFW he married Victoria Korce.
He was predeceased by his brother Rudi Hauser on November 9, 1988.
Survivors include his wife Victoria Hauser of Pine Lake, NY; daughters Melissa Marie and her husband Edmond Sadekoski, I of Fallon, NV, Carrie Ann Hauser of Little Falls, NY; son Kurt Eric and his wife Tiffany Hauser of Clermont, Florida; grandson Edmund Sadekoski, II, and granddaughters Rebecca Hauser, Katherine Hauser and Olivia Hauser, as well as several cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 4:00-7:00 PM, on Thursday 24th, 2023 at Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY 13365. There will be a graveside funeral service on Friday 25th at 10:00am at the Church Street Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a celebration of life at the Little Falls American Legion.
