To the McCarthy Family. There are no words to express the sorrow that is in our heart. God has taken home a very wonderful man. I loved taking our children into the drug store for their Fanny Farmer. They knew if they were good while shopping they would get a Fanny Farmer. Joe would just stand there and laugh while it took them about 10 minutes to decide if they wanted chocolate or vanilla. They also enjoyed the chance to say hi to Joe. We could never go by unless I heard, " Are we going to see Joe?" This was over 50 years ago. Our prayer is that God welcomes him home with open arms and forever holds him in the palms of his hands. This family loves you Joe McCarthy.
