My Uncle Dan was an authority figure and a friend who always made me feel important. He was extraordinarily patient and attentive, in the summer allowing me to drive his collection of tractors (poorly). With a great sense of humor, he saw the lighter side of every issue and early on taught me the recuperative powers of cold beer on a hot day. He was indestructible, and I loved him.

We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Dan. He was a great role model for me as i was growing up. I loved being around him at the farm because he knew how to both work and play hard. He had a wicked sense of humor that really brought a smile to my face. I will remember the good times like they were yesterday. He would let Craig and I come up to the pond and try to shoot ducks or geese with little to no success, these were the small things i remember about uncle Dan that stayed with me through the years.RIP.
