Condolences to the family of Gordon. He was an amazing man who offered so much to so many people. As his student I learned much more than art. I learned to experience, to feel, to see beyond the ordinary. His impact on me at the time was life long. I've thought of him often through the years and have been truly grateful he was a part of my life. He will not be forgotten.

My sympathy to the family of Mr. Ressue. I have many fond memories of him and every
Art class I took at LFHS. He was such an inspiration and encouragement to me. that I
pursued my love of Art and became an Art Educator myself for over 30 years. Thank you for everything Mr. Ressue! God's peace.

Hello Ressue Family. Growing up in the sticks ( AKA Oppenheim) , it was good to have someone like Gordie around to expose us to art… in its many forms on the canvas and in music. Thinking of Gordie brings back so many fond memories I have of going to the Clay Hill house… the picnics, the campfires with Gordie on guitar and singing with his grand voice, the apple tree house (which I am sure Gordie hammered together), flash tag, ping pong, families together going to the lakes – Pine and Caroga, and crazy meet ups like at Plymouth Plantation and family photos all together on one cannon. Riding in that baby blue kingswood estate woodie wagon with the seats in the way back. Those were special times for me and I thank Gordie and Nan for being a big part of them in getting our two families together. I even met the love of my life at the Clay Hill House, Mr. Shaye Williams. Special people and special times! You Ressues all are a nice part of my memory lane. With Love, Celia Allen Williams

So sorry to hear of Mr. Ressue's passing. He made my favorite classes in high school even more fun and interesting, to the point that I would take any class he offered. I also remember the beautiful pieces he created. Rest in peace, my good man

My thoughts are with Mr. Ressue's family. The photography class of his that I took many years ago ended up being one of my favorite classes. Mr. Ressue made me think ouside the
box, look at things differently. I will remember him kindly. My sympathies...
