Obituary of Gordon D Ressue

LITTLE FALLS- Gordon D. Ressue, 82, of Little Falls passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born on January 15, 1935, in Marion, NY, the son of the late Glenn and Mary (Daithyn) Ressue. He was a graduate of Marion High School and then he received his Master’s in Art Education from Buffalo State. He was employed by the Little Falls School District as the High School Art Teacher for many years until his retirement. Mr. Ressue also worked at the St. Johnsville High School at one time. He is survived by his two sons John Ressue and his wife Erin, Little Falls, Dave Ressue and his wife Robin, Little Falls, three daughters Jeanne Dodge and her husband John, Middleville, NY, Ellen Ressue, WI, Connie Bosch and her husband Peter, WI, three sisters Gloria Witter, LA, Hope Ryckman, FL, Mary Spittal, Marion, NY, twelve grandchildren Cary and Nathan Stevens, Alexander and Daniel Ressue, Eva and Suzanna Baker, Julia, Alyssa and Adam Ressue, Audrey, David and Jessica Bosch and several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters Hildegarde Bush and Glenna Yaeger and a brother Elwin Ressue. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 6 pm from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY with the Rev. Joseph Famulare, Pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls, officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 5-6 pm and to attend the funeral services that follow. In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mr. Ressue be gifted to the scholarship fund that the family will be setting up with Little Falls High School.
